Church & Dwight Company Q2 EPS Beats Street as Revenues Miss

Church & Dwight Company shares were down over 4% pre-market Thursday after the company reported Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.41, down from $0.43 a year earlier, but still exceeding Capital IQ’s poll estimate of $0.39 for the quarter. Revenues rose to $898.0 from $877.4 million, but lagged the $903.9 million estimate.

For Q3, the company expects reported and organic sales growth of 3.5% and reported and adjusted EPS of $0.46, which is below the $0.52 per share consensus.
